Terms of Service

Last updated: September 13, 2026

Acceptance

By creating an account or using Oberon Playground (the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create a General Public account. Employee and Student accounts are created by an administrator on behalf of a sponsoring organization or institution. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to attempt to bypass, probe, or interfere with the Platform's security controls, including rate limiting and authentication; access another user's account or data without authorization; use the Platform to store or transmit unlawful content; or use automated means to scrape Platform content beyond normal use. Administrators of organization/institution accounts are responsible for the accuracy of information provided when enrolling Employees or Students.

Content Ownership

All training content — lessons, simulations, and quizzes — is owned by Oberon Services. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable license to access it for your own training. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit it without written permission.

Certificates

A certificate confirms completion of a specific training module and its assessment. It is not a professional credential, license, or accreditation recognized by any regulatory body, and does not itself guarantee protection against any real-world security threat.

Fees

The General Public track is currently free, with no paywall on any content. Employee and Student access is governed by Oberon's agreement with the sponsoring organization or institution. We may introduce paid tiers in the future; content free today will not be retroactively paywalled without prior notice.

Disclaimers

The Platform and its content are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. Completing training does not guarantee prevention of any phishing attempt, fraud, or other security incident.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oberon Services will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate any account for violating these Terms, at the direction of a sponsoring organization or institution, or at our discretion. You may request deletion of a General Public account at any time.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
